Sankuanz Fall 2022

Shangguan Zhe reincorporated elements from his past collections into Sankuanz’s Fall 2022. A dystopian look themed the runway; there is a uniqueness about this collection– contrasting between streetwear and high-end fashion.

The streetwear aspect of “A Room with No Sound” includes the layering of graffiti prints, sweatshirts, jackets, t-shirts, long sleeves, and trousers. On the other hand floor-length overcoats, carefully tailored blouses, and multicolored furs brought an element of luxe to the collection. 

The dystopian theme is tied together by sculpture props carried by the models resembling human bones and carcasses. This aspect of the collection, in addition to the models moonwalking down the runway with gray contacts and alien-like cheekbones, was disturbing yet nothing short of what Zhe was going for.
