Han Kjobenhavn Fall 2022

Danish director of Han Kjobenhavn, Jannik Wikkelso Davidsen, dove into the depths of darkness for his fall 2022 menswear collection. Although this release is arguably lacking in diversity and quantity, its boldness compensates. 

These garments are tailored for a boxy look, with wide-shouldered blazers, a double-breasted tux, leather pantsuits, and metallic armholes. To pull together this discomforting look, Chewbacca-like fur boots were the shoe of choice. Davidsen chose to use an individual albino, male model to show off this look, allowing for a bold contrast in complexion and garments. 

“For me its about creating something sensitive, something beautiful using the intensity of darkness as the core of everything,” says the director. 

There is something neat about this collection, however, this collection is not realistically wearable in the real world.
