J.W. Anderson Fall 2022

Similar to his Loewe Fall 2022 menswear collection, the limits of hyper-masculinity were pushed for J.W. Anderson Fall 2022. Weird was the theme of this sensual, lockdown spin-off. It was almost uncomfortable to dissect these different runway looks. 

There are a handful of materials that have odd sound qualities giving off a sexual tension, according to J.W. 

Long knit dresses, snake like tubes were wrapped around models’ legs, loose full body suits, rompers, awkward fitting pants, and full length dress coats made up a majority of this collection. 

These pieces are extremely unorthodox, helping Anderson achieve his weird, unorthodox look. None of the garments appear wearable for the real world.
