Erdem Fall 2022

British fashion designer Erdem Moralioglu played with gender roles in his recently released fall 2022 collection. Using utilitarian romanticism, he portrayed a theme of Old World meets New World. 

Erdem has only recently been experimenting with menswear, allowing his touch to flow from his familiar women's fashion to men. This collection is filled with corduroy, knit, and printed denim seen in dark blues, oranges, and greens. The contemporary look imitates an accord of informal versus formal, masculine versus feminine.  As his most informal look yet, he draws the attention of a newer generation audience, as well as the new age working businessman, trying to bring comfort to the workplace.
