Ami: Spring 2023 Menswear

A peek over the runway at Ami’s Spring 2023 menswear collection reveals the entire Parisian skyline. The gentle dusk sunlight perfectly lit the top of the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur, where models would quickly strut about in Mattiussi’s newest collection. Meanwhile, excited fans gathered at the bottom of the basilica's steps to see guests like Naomi Campbell, Carla Bruni, Angus Cloud, Anderson Paak, and many more. With truly a marvelous start, Amélie star Audrey Tautou reignited her public presence by opening the show. Her elegant presence was followed by a cream trench coat and matching blouse, along with a pair of white jeans.

This cool collection was filled with perfectly draped blazers and longer trench coats, along with playfully stripped scarlet and white tops, and fun argyle vests and checkered jackets. Embodying the usual relaxed, yet polished nature of Parisian style. Many of course, embellished with the house’s iconic logo. Leather also made a large statement in this collection, with another bold scarlet oversized jacket, which later made way for an array of other looks. One of which was Cara Delevingne’s appearance on the runway, as she sported a classic cropped black leather jacket with a white button-down and black pants to match. Quickly following this classic look was Kristen McMenamy, who closed the show in an all-scarlet leather-look, consisting of a long jacket and over-the-knee boots.

This show left those in attendance with a light, magical feeling. It perfectly encapsulated the mystique of Paris, flawlessly staying on brand for Mattiussi.
