Versace Spring/Summer 2019

Although it felt a bit slow at first, Versace’s spring/summer 2019 runway show soon evolved into a benchmark for not only itself, but other luxury brands in the process. Pieces start simple, full pin striped suits with baggy pants and a few bare accessories, but it become clearly quickly that Versace was simply acclimating the audience to the brand’s creativity. Colors became more diverse and garments more inventive as time went on, as I particularly loved the orbital inspired clothing which created a beautiful end point of figuratively where the brand may go. I would recommend men attempt to focus more on the beginning of the collection for inspiration towards their own personal wardrobes, but the tail end of the runway show should most certainly be appreciated for its effort.
