Jordan Luca Fall 2022

The Lorax meets Slenderman, but make it punk. This seemed to be the look for the JordanLuca Fall 2022 menswear collection.

This was designer Jordan Bowen and Luca Marchetto’s first season in Milan. “The more we get back to physical shows, the more we get in touch with physicality,” says Bowen. This collection has an erotic allure to it; elongated silhouettes, Grinch-like gloves, extending past the fingertips, gothic trousers, extended sleeves, recycled cashmere, and mohair.

At first glance, I did not think that I was a fan of this collection. After further dissection, I believe that there was deep thought that went into the collection launching us into the future of fashion. I could not see Man of the Hour’s ideal audience wearing many pieces from these Fall 2022 looks, although there is an appreciation that comes with this collection from someone with a well-rounded style.
