Fumito Ganryu Fall 2022

I am not too sure how I feel about the fall collection titled “Homeostasis”, released by designer Fumito Ganryu. Similar to a handful of collections previewed this past Fashion Week, the theme seems to be unorthodox. 

With ginormous, oversized puffer coats and parkas, leggings, low-hanging joggers, and misfit pockets this collection evokes an uneasy feeling. Creative evolution appears to be the deeper vision for this collection, however, I don’t think it’s realistic to picture our target audience sporting any garments from “Homeostasis”.
