Children of the Discordance Fall 2022

The Children of Discordance Fall 2022 menswear collection, “Reason”, brought grunge to the runway at Milan Fashion Week. This streetwear look was inspired by Japanese youth subcultures, using retro textiles, upcycled fabric, vintage tees, and patches. Designer Hideaki Shikama’s classic construction of bandanas was a staple throughout this collection; however, multiple different patterns and textiles were used, giving the collection an updated grunge look. Primary colors were mixed in with neutral dark tones, giving the pieces an edge. 

Creatives will appreciate the vision behind this collection, targeting a younger audience, with an overall laidback look.
