Brioni Fall 2022

Brioni’s Fall 2022 Menswear collection was staged at Milan Fashion Week, gifting the spectators with simple sophistication. Inspired by artist Bruegel the Elder’s painting, The Allegory of Air, collection designer Norbet Stumpfl was discreet with details and careful with craftsmanship. 

This menswear collection was articulately fashioned with quality cashmere, baby alpaca, and fine wools, using only a handful of colors to create monochrome pieces. Charcoal gray, black, midnight blue, cream, and hazelnut were the principal colors used to bring out a romantic feel. Each look reflects gentle confidence and effortlessness, transitioning formalwear to casualwear.

I enjoyed the elegance of the collection, as Stumpfl expands the fluidity of Brioni into pieces women are able to wear as well. Creating substance in the absence of weight, is one of the best collections of FW 2022, given its wearability and polish.
