Man On The Move: Winter In Hermès

Hermès Fall Menswear 2022

Cold is here, and yes, it’s true that the Winter season has not officially begun, the cold is here. And while the daunting, albeit, exciting task of matching style with winter-warm ready wear can put pressure on some; we here at Man Of The Hour have a few pieces of advice. Thankfully the team at Hermès has been styling Winter fashion for nearly a century and not only put craftsmanship, but thoughtful styling into their core ethos.

Style Advice: On that note, we look to another great designer, Raf Simons and his namesake
label’s elegance with the blue Fred Perry edition sweater ($145). You’ll want to tuck that turtleneck into Séfr’s Harvey pleated trousers ($160) with clean-cut lines that are slimming and flattering. To ensure a dapper fit with matching details, the Juun.J black leather belt ($190) is a tasteful option with just enough added flair. To help keep warm in the continued cold, we look to Theory and their City Bomber jacket ($400) which offers a straight fit with clean lines. Continue our trend of straight cut with the Birent boots ($300) from Tiger of Sweden which screams Chelsea boots, but they’re made in Portugal.

Be certain to keep all of you goods dry and more importantly, safe in the Dry Boston bag ($180) from snow peak, a multipurpose, waterproof bag meant to take on any task, in virtually any weather.

Must Have: If the Theory Bomber jacket didn’t do it for you, look to Ozwald Boateng and their grey Tribal Tweed Bomber jacket ($3,600) for some elevated layering. This high fashion jacket is made of 100% woven wool jacquard and is guaranteed to be a talking point at nearly any occasion you wear it to.
