Les Hommes Spring/Summer 2019

A good bit of confidence mixed with an array of beautiful garments, Les Hommes’ spring/summer 2019 runway show was a true step in the right direction. It’s so rare to view a runway show and not only feel surprised by how creatively impressive the garments were, but also be able to relish over the fact that all of the outfits are entirely practical and could fit well into any man’s closet. I particularly liked how red maintained a common theme throughout the show, draping the model in gothic tones meant to add a little passion to the collection. Take note of the red overcoat with matching tassels specifically, as it represents a strong balance amongst avant garde expressionism and real world application. Any man could easily choose an outfit within this runway show to proudly add to his personal rotation, whether it be in a casual or professional setting.
