Namacheko Spring/Summer 2018
For their second outing, design duo Dilan and Lezan Lurr offered up a concise, edited assortment of classic garments with a modern twist. Some white looks conjured up an idea of a clean slate, simple in its execution but lust worthy in overall silhouette and small details. Bright colors later emerged in puckered knits before transitioning to a play in balance and juxtaposition in symmetry. Particularly strong was the jacket with cocoon-like sleeves - a truly elevated take on a basic garment. The sleeveless vests, especially the elongated finale look was a winner in this lineup and an example of the desginers' understated, yet nuanced point of view.
