Chef's Special: A Simply Crispy Salmon for Date Night

What you’ll need:
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2-4 skin-on salmon filets
2 tablespoons olive oil
How you’ll make it:
1. Cut the cabbage into quarters, removing the core, and thinly slice.
2. Melt the butter in a pan and sauté cabbage over medium-low heat until wilted.
3. Heat oil and sear the salmon skin-side down until medium-rare, about 2 or 3 minutes each.
4. Remove the salmon from heat and allow the residual heat to cook the other side to rare, or flip and continue cooking until medium-rare on both sides.
Add salt to taste and voilà, a simple preparation. This easy meal takes no time at all to create an outstanding taste. For a finishing touch, garnish salmon with herbs and lemon.
