Top 10 Music Festivals for Millenials

Factoring in location, experience, performers, food, and more, here is a list of the top 10 music festivals for millenials. By no means is this list concrete or unarguable. This list is just an exhaustive of 10 different quality festivals enjoyed year round by the people who create the magical atmosphere.

10) Ultra Music Festival

Experience: If not the biggest, Ultra is definitely one of the best electronic music festivals out there. This festival got its start in 1999 and is held annually in Downtown Miami at Bayfront Park. Ultra Music Festival was founded and named by Russell Faibisch and Alex Omes, after the 1997 Depeche Mode album, "Ultra." The festival was originally one day, before it grew into a two-day event in 2007.

9) Budweiser Made in America

The three stages are called the Rocky Stage, Liberty Stage, and Freedom Tent. The Freedom Tent specializes in electronic music, while the other two stages are designated for hip hop artists and rock bands. The festival also includes carnival games and quality food trucks.

The theme of the festival was stated by the founder himself in a Budweiser "Makers of Tomorrow" commercial. Jay-Z professed, "Through all the lines and things that are put in place to divide each other, all like-minded people gather together. We're more curious than ever. We create music to express ourselves. And when the world relates, ya know, that's beautiful things. We're all trading off each other's culture. So no matter what lines you put — country, indie rock, rap — we're all somehow gonna find a way to come together cause the lines and the titles can never keep us apart. This is what we've been. To put that on display for the world is, is just being honest. That's it, that's what it's all about. We are finally living out our creed.”
